What is the Readership?
The readership of the Family Business Directory is potentially the entirety of the Christian population in Australia, given its online presence and the promotion we do through a variety of Christian Media. Conservatively, we could consider a potential audience of close to 500,000 viewers per month.

What sort of person advertisers in the Family Business Directory?
The Family Business Directory is primarily comprised of businesses owned and/or managed by Christians. It provides a way for Christians in the above regions to locate Christian service providers. The Directory also provides a cost-effective advertising medium and enables owners of Christian businesses to reach a targeted audience.

The Family Business Directory is promoted in Christian media and through churches, hence the Directory is (primarily) comprised of businesses owned or managed by people connected to those networks, or who service those networks. Another way of saying this is that participation in the Directory comes from people from within local churches, businesses that have working relationships with local churches or who support local churches.

NB: No business can be Christian in/or of itself! It can only have Christian owners/workers etc. (i.e. only a person, not a business entity, can make a decision of faith in Christ to become a Christian)

Businesses we would not list and the reason why?
Media Inc is a Christian-based organisation and operates on Christian principles. Therefore, the Publisher would not accept advertising that contradicts those principles (e.g. companies that engage in any immoral activities, etc) or that contradicts its work in the community (e.g. alcohol companies, etc.).

This is a general guideline, however, Media Incorp (as with any Publisher) reserves the right to cancel any material deemed inappropriate.

How long has the Family Business Directory been in operation?
The Family Business Directory has been in operation since 2000. We are entering our tenth year of serving the Christian community.

How do I know if the Directory will work for me?
Whilst we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the Directory for all businesses we know it works for most, as over 50% of display advertisers rebook every year

When is it issued?
With our new online model, you can register at any time and have your business online within 48 hours. Your listing is live for a full 365 days. As your annual listing nears completion, you will receive email notification as to advise of your completion date. You can also re-book for a further 12 months at this time.
